Home from uni for the weekend so I can actually go on DA!
I wanted to do some Princess and the Frog fanart since I really love that movie. Tiana is definitely a nice change from the usual Disney princesses in the fact that she actually has a personality!
Still, since the movie only came out recently I'd heard of the original story of The Princess and the Frog before seeing the Disney version. So here's Tiana in the original story where the frog retrieves her golden ball from the pond.
I didn't feel like doing lineart this time so the style is a weird combination of Disney and realistic which is why Tiana's proportions are a little off. The background was really fun to do, backgrounds are actually becoming my favourite part of digital painting.
